I never thought I would be posting here ... but I have been dealing with two allied hens that have been terrorizing the new pullets.
I had renamed them Godzilla and Mothra (they used to be Camilla and snowball) and collectively as "the Sumo sisters."
It usually falls to my BIL to dispatch sick or old animals on the farm.
I had been complaining about those two hens saying they should be shot.
They hadn't laid eggs in a very long time but I let my hens retire when the time comes and live out their lives.
But these girls were HUGE, very healthy and aggressive.
Unknown to me, the neighbor was proccessing his meaties yesterday and so my BIL took the Sumos over and brought me back a lovely big fat chicken
in a bag. He said "this is either Godzilla or Mothra". I thought he was kidding.
I hadn't even noticed that they were missing from the flock.
She is now chillin' out in freezer camp.
She'll be made into our family recipe for Nippy Chicken which will tenderize even the toughest Sumo wrestler.
