Hi all! Im Kimberly a 35 year old mother of three and grandmother to two (remarried so yes im a young grannie :) ) We live near just south of savannah in the great town of Richmond Hill.

We are brand new to raising chickens. We are going to pick up our first three hens from the GA Mad Hatcher on Thursday. I chose Gold Buffs for their egg production and calm demeanor's (my kids are crazy enough).

I found the website by searching for care tips and instructions on newborn chicks.

I am an avid knitter and culinary explorer. I love gardening, salt water fishing, boating and just laying in the cool waters off St Catherins Island.

I am a stay at home mom after 15 years as a paramedic/Firefighter. My husband is a pipe welder. We have three kids (21, 19, 12) and two grands (7 mo and 17 mos). We also have a dachsund/labrodor and a bearded dragon.
