Super Egg Laying Bantam Cochin?

Everywhere I look I read that cochin are average egg layers. This fact almost discouraged me from getting the 2 bantam that I have now. We got them in January of this year and they started laying the next week. It looks like 1 is about 1 year old and the other looks at least 2 years old, but we get 1 egg a day from each of them, almost every day! Can't get much better than that. I was wondering if others get the same results?

I purchased these from an auction and do not know their true origin.

My bantam cochins lay great in spring summer and fall. I have 9 hens and get about 8 eggs a day. I only had several that were old enough to lay in the winter but they didn't start till this spring... so only time will tell on that one!
