Super jumbo eggs does this hurt the hen

I am wondering if the super jumbo eggs my red star lays will hurt her. The are double yolk eggs. And, I also wanted to know if you were to breed it would the next generation have the super jumbos. Should they be incubated or will the double yolk eggs develop? The eggs she lays will not fit in the egg crate. I leave them in a bowl for us.

Every now and then one of my EE girls lays one of those super jumbo sized eggs - and I always tease that I wonder how they manage to walk straight afterwards!

If there is such a thing as reincarnation, please oh please don't let me come back as a chicken!

I would think having to "give birth" almost every day of my life would be a bad thing.

I wondered that myself but when I was in the hen house one day my chickens had just finished dropping her egg and they are soft when first dropped then the air hardens them up the rest of the way.
