    Hi everyone!
We're looking to expand into poultry egg farming and looking to start a flock of about 300 hens. I am thinking of using the deep litter method as they will be housed in a barn. I read that rice hulls are awesome for bedding but can't seem to find a supplier in the area. Does anyone know where you can order them from a website? Also what other litters work well with deep litter method? I have heard of pine shavings but i would rather something that composts better as we use pine for our small flock and it seems to take awhile to break down. Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks!
