Hey there everyone! Long story short, we had two hens go broody in January so we put some fertilized eggs under then. 21 days later, we ended up with 5 babies! They are all barnyard mixes and the eggs came from a friends farm. Any guesses to the gender? I think chicken #2 is a roo. All the others are up in the air for me! All these guys are between 7 and 8 weeks old.

Trouble, Mango, and Chicken #2 look like roosters. They are sure cute!

Trouble and Mango are the ones looking like roosters to me at this point.

Well I was hoping trouble was a hen. What seems to give him away? Comb and waddle color? Feathers?

The comb and wattles are much bigger and pinker than the other birds'. But, they are all still young, so you won't have a final answer until the day they crow or lay an egg.

Trouble has a lot of red leakage on his wings, which is generally a sign of a cockerel. He also has a red comb.
