So my husbands grandpa comes back from his trucking trip. He walks through door with this panicked look on his face. Of course I ask whats wrong? his response "your chicks are running lose and the cat is after them!" I freak out tear towards the garage to just to finds everyone is still in the brooder. I look at him like what the heck PawPaw, why did you scare my like that. He said are you sure all the chicks are in the brooder, just listen. So I listened and did hear some upset peeping like "I' cold kinda peeping. So I start searching the garage and find my self looking at a TSC box. PawPaw is grinning from ear to ear lol. He brought home 12 buff orpingtons!!! Of course I couldn't object to the little fluff balls and added to the other little fuzzy butts. So now I am at a grand total of...drum roll please..........27 chickens[IMG]. Oh Lawd!!!
