I have a brinsea mini adv.

I put in the seven duck eggs I wanted to incubate and candled them diligently, hoping all seven were fertile. Egg number 1 had a bloodspot, and by day four I pitched him, and without a second thought plopped another egg in the bator.

I didn't think about it at the time, but I probably shouldn't have done that.

    Speed forward a month.

Four days prior to hatch my eggs started rocking and peeping so I turned off the autoturner early and raised the humidity. Poor little egg that was set four days early was just going to have to cope. I wasn't expecting him to hatch after high humidity, eight days of no turning, and not to mention the bator being opened and closed to remove ducklings.

But sitting at my computer just a few minutes ago I hear a rocking noise, and I look over and low and behold...

    A PIP!

[IMG] It is often amazing what they can overcome and still make it to hatch. Congrats on your success. [IMG]
