Okay so last year I bought a bunch of chicks from the farm and home store where I worked at the time. Because there wasn't many chicks, management just set up big empty water troughs to hold the chicks, but didn't use chicken wire over the top, so some of the chicks would jump back and forth between troughs. At the end of chick days, I bought the last chicks, just some assorted rainbow layers, all the fancier breeds had been bought. As they grow up I notice one hen is totally different than the rest, I loved it. All the hens are red or black, then there was Princess, uniquely black and white. I know, it's been a year and I'm just now asking about her breed. But I never really thought much about it til now. I'm pretty darn sure she must be a Silver Lace Wyandotte. That's the only thing I can think of. What do you all think??
