Surprised by a green egg!

First my "barred rock" grew up to be a Black Australorp. Now my Red Sex Link just laid her first egg - and it's green! Does this make her an EE? I think the local farm store needs to check up on their chick supplier!

The trouble with farm supply stores is some times people go visit the chicks and pick them up to see how cute they are and then put them down in the wrong bin/area so they get all mixed up.

Greens eggs are pretty exciting though!

Yep she's an EE. There are sex links in the UK that lay blue/green eggs. Maybe yours needs to take a citizenship exam
