Hi I'm new here.
I have a 3 year old rooster
Since last 2 weeks, his shanks are growing red and been swollen and is increasing.
I've given him reliflam spray for redness and itching but it's not working
I've also been treating him with honey by soaking his leg in warm water and epsom salt.
There's no help in reducing the swelling

I have never seen mites that look like that? Looks painful. Is it not the spur that is too long? If it is leg mites - I treated my hens for it around a month ago. I first dipped there legs in gasoline for like 30 seconds. Then let that dry. The next night I dipped their legs in a coconut oil and olive oil mixture. The hen that had the raised scales is much better now, all the dead scales fell off of her feet. I wouldn’t use gasoline for this boys feet though because that looks very painful.
