WHAT A GREAT TIME EVERY ONE WAS SO NICE
I SPOKE TO ONE REALLY NICE MAN FOR OVER AN HOUR ABOUT SHOWING AND ALL KINDS OF BIRDS
YOU MUST GET THERE EARLY
CAN'T WAIT TILL OCT.

is that the next show or is there one in August? I'm sorry I missed it, but also glad I was home- I got to see all 8 (! Yes 8!) of our new Mandarin babies- babyproofed their pen so they can't escape anymore if they get scared, and totally re-did our chicken pen floor with stone dust/screenings so they won't have anymore mud...I'm so sore now- but was glad to get that done while keeping watch on the new babies....They are such adorable little ducklings!
Is that one photo above of a dove or pigeon? Is that the way its supposed to look? It looks like it would be uncomfortable or something....
Lisa
PS- We'll get to meet each other one of these days:)

There is one show in Aug. It's a 10 day show. I was told it's very pricy because it's the county fair The next show is Oct. 21 I think. I will be showing birds God willing. I had so much fun and meet so many nice people! I'm so glad all the babies are well!!!! I really would like to meet you. I go to the Poconos all the time Maybe I could stop by if it's not to far Love to those babies.

The funny bird was a dove I think. He sat that way for quite a while. I never saw that before. It was really wierd

On the state fair, yes you must keep your birds there for the entire fair 10 or 11 days and you must feed and clean their cages daily or get someone to rotate for a day with you. If you show 2 birds and are in the club which is only $6 a year then you can sell birds there. If you enter 2 birds you get a parking pass and free pass for each day of the fair but only for the person who entered the birds.

The chick in second pic is a RIR/Brown leghorn cross at least I think that is what warrior child said it was.

Hope this helps.
