Sussex light gender - 14 weeks (???)

Not really.
They have to have light for a certain amount of the day, and if they're going to crow, they will.
My boys crow in the dark too. Maybe not as much.
It certainly won't work for a permanent solution.

Then I'm out of luck already! Do yours crow throughout the day, early to late? The neighbours will hate me.

Mine set eachother off.
One starts, and then they have a match.

Once they decide to crow, they crow for a while, but there are large breaks.

I'm rural so pretty far.
My neighbors are as bad as me - they have a crowd of cockerels too. Those cockerels set mine off sometimes.
So it's near enough to hear each others cockerels crowing lol.

Is he still crowing?

In my own experience with Light Sussex, the redness and size of the comb at 14 weeks would point towards cockerel, sorry to hear he has started crowing, hope you find a good home.

Damn! No, just the one bizzare noise. Maybe I can pitch it against next door's barking dog 😜
