i was wondering how you put baby chicks under a broody hen while she is sitting on eggs do you take the old eggs out and just replace them with peeping babys and waite for the mama to take them for a walk and take away the unhatched eggs or what? also dos this technique work with ringneck pheasants i have a broody pheasant atm and planning on buy some new baby ringnecks since my male died

No idea about the pheasants, but I usually tuck chicks under the hen's wing at night if I am introducing new chicks. I would then lift the hen on the following morning and remove unhatched eggs.
If both things are done quite quickly it usually works,
Sandie
