We have a beautiful flock of Swedish Flower Hens. We have 5 hens and 1 rooster. Each one is a different color/pattern. The rooster and two of the hens are crested. So there's a good chance you'll get some crested chicks. We always send extra eggs - depending on how well the hens lay that week.
Since our hens and rooster are varied in color and patterns, you should get a nice variety of colors in your chicks.
We will wrap each egg individually in bubble wrap. Then the eggs will go into a box which will then be cushioned and placed in a larger box. The extra eggs sent are to make up for any possible mishaps in shipping or incubation.
We have had reports of 100% development from these eggs, and we regularly get great feedback about the great variety of cute chicks that hatch. Development and hatch rates vary depending on what happens to the eggs during shipping.
