Hi Everyone!

I know it's still a little bit early to know sexes for sure, but I am just curious what others think of my guesses so far for my new Swedish Hedemora chicks. They are around 5 weeks old now and maturing quickly the past few days - the two obvious cockerels have developed even further since I took these photos yesterday.

Geri, Freyr, and Thor are males.

The "Almost 2 Months" Update

Surprise, surprise - while most of the guesses were right, there have been a couple developments! Only one I am not sure about now, but it looks to be a pullet when I had originally suspected a cockerel.

Where did you get these eggs/chicks from? They are gorgeous! 😍🤍🤍🤍🤍

With Blue chickens I always want to think black beaks and combs are female. When I chose a LO from the feed store, I will always chose a chick with dark beak and comb.
