Good evening. I am interested in developing an idea of mine, and I need some input. Simply put, I'd like to work toward having a flock that consists of breeds from three countries of origin: Sweden, Norway and Finland. My idea is in the early stages, so I'm nowhere near ready to take action. I'd much rather take some good time to determine if the idea is realistic, first. If it takes years to carry this out, so be it; I'd rather it did and work than bring animals into a poorly-managed situation.
I've seen Norwegian Jaerhorns and Swedish Flower Hens on this site, and have found some availability in the US. Are there other breeds that I might consider and which I might be able to obtain w/o importing? Thanks in advance...Pete
