Swedish sitting duck getting cray-cray

So we have a Swedish black duck who has been sitting on 12 eggs for exactly 29 days. Nobody has hatched yet, and her behavior is super duper aggressive/protective. Every time a human is near she hisses and her physical state is quite the shambles - she basically looks like a hobo duck with feathers everywhere and total crazy eyes. She is eating very little, and we haven't seen her off the nest in at least 2 weeks. She is in a closed coop with bath water, drinking water, and food.

How long do we wait? Is her behavior normal for a mother about to hatch?

My broody ducks/chickens typically behave similiar to the above. I would remove the bath water, as ducklings can drown. They will probably be fine with the mom nearby if they swim, but I've had too many ducklings drown with and without mama.
Some duckling may of already hatched under her, but you just can't see them. I had a silkie hatch a chick, then sit on the chick and 3 eggs for 2+ weeks till the eggs hatched.
Be careful around her, esp. if you have young kids. Mama fowl are not to be messed with unless they are proven sweeties. Haha

I'd look under her for any hatching or starting to hatch yes she'll not like it but wear long sleeves and gloves if you don't want her to bite. I just do it anyway they get over it. But she sounds like her physical body is really suffering and she may need help if none are going to hatch which means by day 30 if none have hatched I'd begin taking a few eggs at a time and smelling and candling if they aren't good you need to get her off the nest and clean it all out give her fresh bedding and let her recoup. I just took eggs[fake] away from one of my Muscovy's because after 2 weeks she would not come off the nest, I didn't want to lose her over 2 fake eggs.

I agree about bath water I too have lost a duckling to drowning in a cat litter pan. so it happens.
