Swelling around Hen’s Eye

Woke up to find my 7 month old hen with a swollen eye and face on the one side. She seems more sluggish than usual. I’m not sure if it is an infection or something else. Any treatment ideas and possible diagnoses?

Have you added any birds within the last 30 days?

I agree, the eye is swollen. Hard to know the cause. It could be from respiratory disease. Do you see any mucous, sneezing, coughing, etc. Hard to see in eye - is there any bubbles?
It does look like the eye may have some discharge looking at the crusty around her eye.

General care for the eye would be to flush with saline, wipe away debris/pus/bubbles and apply an eye ointment 2-3 times a day.
