Switched Live trap Bait

I switched my bait in the live traps to marshmellows .I have caught 6 racoons in 7 nights .
Before I used cat food and only would catch one every other week .I have not lost any
Chickens yet and would like to keep it that way .

molasses is good too keeps non targets out of you traps

In season, they also love watermelon and you can use honey or sugar-coated vegetable slices all year round. These baits will not interest your cats and dogs that might get into the trap.

Wow, this is really interesting to me. I have always used cat food or a can of tuna or sardines.....i did not know marshmallows or those other items you all talked about would work....hold on...I'll go and set my trap now.

O Thanks for posting this..... I have lost to many chickens over these past few weeks and we just caught a raccoon in the act of eating my husband's black laced polish
