swolen ankles

one of my ex battery hens has swollen ankles, very runny poo, her comb seems very off colour and she isnt laying eggs. when her ankles started to swell i first thought it was gout because she was not getting rid of nutrition through her eggs but i am unsure now so can anyone tell me what it is or anyway of treating it.

E.T.A also she is breatheing heavily and she sneezes alot

Can you take a pic of her legs? Do the scales look crusty at all?

Maybe she has scaley leg mites. Look closely at the swollen part to see if there are scales lifted up making it look swollen. I dont know much about treatment but i'm sure you can find something on the internet if that is what she has.

no her legs look fine but just are swollen but if it was scaly leg wouldnt it have been passed on to the rest of the flock correct me if im wrong i think it gets passed on. also i have had chickens with scaly leg before and they didnt have runny poo and poultryqueen29 i treated my birds with vaseline to treat it and it worked a treat
