1 of my broodies just hatched some chicks and 1 of them is a turken. Well this turken is very weak and can't stand up and its neck area is swollen. I really want it to live, please pray for the poor thing and if theres anything I can do for it I would like to know. Oh and its bleeding from its ear. I really don't think I have the heart to cull it [IMG].

And another just hatched this morning, I helped it to partially hatch last night and finished it this morning, it can sit down but can't walk. What should I do? The turken's neck is no longer swollen and it can walk a little but must sit down or it falls over. And its ear isn't bleeding anymore.

I'd separate them from the others so they won't be pecked and make sure that they're warm...

I have watched them and the other chicks are more interested in exploring (I moved them from the chicken coop) and they aren't pecking either of the chicks. The non-turken prooblematic chick's head is sticking in an up position unlike the others. The turken is fine but can never seem to find mom when he wanders off.

yu can give both these chick POLYVISOL Enfamil (childrens liquid A-B-D vitamins ) three drops in beak once a day for a week...wont hurt and may very well help

The polyvisol is a human childrens vitamin and you will not find it in a feed shop..........the feed store MIGHT have a general poultry vitamin...(they will also have a combination electrolyte/vit and this product is handy to have on hand (you give electrolytes ONLY when they are in shock or in situations where they are dehydrated like very hot weather when they are panting) >>> this electrolyte product is not what I am recommending in this instance.)
