swollen breasts

My 3 month old chicken, we think is a rooster has a swollen right side. I just noticed he was all poofy so I picked him up and noticed his right side has a large soft spot, its pretty large. Is it just his crop? I gave them a small piece of bread as a treat today, does he need to just poop? More grit? My older rooster has a smaller spot but nothing noticable so I think its just the crop. Is everything okay?

I bet it is just his crop, he maybe ate a lot. If the crop doesn't go down in size and he starts to stink he might have an impacted crop or a sour crop.

Well he did have a strong odor, I thought it was just his feet from all the wetness and poop he steps in. What should I do if it doesnt go down and could be sour?

Sour crops is when the crop of a chicken is blocked and after a while it begins to stink. Here is a link:

If it does not go down I would put this into consideration.

If it does not go down and get bigger you need to stop feeding him immediately and follow the steps on what the chicken chick lady has put on her website.

Pull all feed from coop overnight and check his crop in the morning, the size should have gone down.
They can get incredibly huge with normal usage.

It did not decrease in size :/ I pulled te food. Should I isolate him from the others or in a seperate area of coop?

Yes isolate him and follow all the steps from the link from my other post. I believe he may have impacted crop or even sour crop if it stinks.
