So this isn't an emergency. When I was new to chickens, 9 years ago, I rescued a turkey poult from the feed store that was in the "sick box" where they put all the weak babies to die. It had a massively swollen eye and it was very lethargic. A few days later it was fine, and I bought it. I eventually gave it to a friend... who ate him. lol, poor guy, he was cute though. But anyways, I was just thinking how dumb I was back then! God only knows what I could have brought to my flock by buying that bird! Any idea what it could have been? Just out of curiosity...
