A few weeks ago, my EE had a swollen eye. Treated with saline and teramycin and was better in a few days. Two weeks later, my BJG had a swollen eye. Went away within a week.(gave him away so no treatment). Now I have two more with swollen lids. Not fully swollen shut but still. I clean with saline and teramycin. I've seen pics of coryza but their eyes don't look at all like this and no respitory issues. The mosquitoes are HORENDOUS right now. Is it possible they are getting bit near their eyes?

They might be pecking each other around the eye, but there could be a possibility of mycoplasma (MG,) a respiratory disease. Where did you get the chicks? If you could post any pictures of swollen eyes, that might be helpful. Are they alert and active, and eating/drinking? Do you see any bubbles from eyes or nasal drainage, or hear sneezing?

Got chicks from Meyer Hatchery back on April 1. Been in coop since May 18. No bubbles, no tears, no respitory issues. Just swollen eyes. Eating, drinking, and acting like healthy chickens. Pics of my BJG and my EE from a few weeks ago.
