Swollen feet and cheek

    I've just noticed that one of my chickens has swollen feet and cheeks. Shes had slight problems with scaly feet on and off so I don't know if there's a link but an help would be appreciated.

    A picture would be best. It may be a result of the scaly leg mites. Swollen legs when there is no leg mites might indicate kidney failure or gout. Is her face swollen? Respiratory diseases could cause swelling around the face and eyes. Things like mycoplasma or coryza--here is a link to diseases: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ps044

    Thanks forbthe reply, as you can see, he feet are in a pretty bad way, but there is also some swelling on the cheek. Inope someone can help.
