Aweh my first instinct would be a vet, I can't help but think the worst and tumor comes to mind :( I'm sorry I don't want to scare you. I'm not sure what else can cause a growth like that though

I don't know if there is anything in your area that can bit or sting - a wasp, a snake?

I just found this this morning.

A cool compress may help - it may be some kind of fluid buildup, I am hoping that perhaps @casportpony can take a look here.

Are there any other symptoms? Can your duck sitter describe any changes in behavior?

No idea what it is, but if I saw one of mine that looked like that I would check for for some type of wound, scratch, puncture, etc. What does the swelling feel like? Is it hard, soft or does it feel like fluid?

She described it as soft but firm. Im guessing its a bee sting or spider bite as it showed up overnight. The vet is closed on Sunday except for emergencies. She can not see any bite or injuries. She said that she is acting completely normal. Eating and drinking is normal as well as her fecal. I will have her try the compress with Epsom till i get back. If the swelling gets worse i told her to call the vet. WOW its the exact same thing!!!! I wish i knew what the answer was.

If it is a sting, a tiny bit of benedryl cream might be a good idea - what do you think @casportpony
  ?

Sure couldn't hurt... Interestingly, to the best of my knowledge, *oral* Benadryl is not used in birds for this sort of thing. Only references from veterinary resources I could find say it's used for behavioral problems, but don't quote me on that. :D
