He has a heat lamp and indoor roosting area to get away from cold. His comb is swollen to the point he can not eat or drink. Just noticed today he is in the coop during the day. He wanted to eat but comb got in way. Will this go away cause it's frost bite or something else going on? Surprised frost bite Because he has shelter but if he was walking around all day yesterday with the ladies and I can assume he may have overdone it.

Do you have any pictures of the comb? What have your low temperatures been? Frostbite is common this time of the year, especially if temps are close to zero and if there is a lot of humidity in the coop. Severe frostbite in combs may cause severe swelling and weeping. Combs during frostbite are very painful and should not be handled or massaged.
