swollen shanks and feet...

My 2 blue lace red hens have got swollen feet and shanks. It's not bumble foot. The hens are older, I think 6 in our years. The feet and shanks are hot to the touch. They won't come out of the coop. Anyone know what this could possibly be? Thanks

Hi!

Hope an expert replies. Sorry you are having trouble. I don't know exactly. Heat and swelling most always = infection, so do you have any antibiotics you could get on board? I would think soaking their feet in warm epsom salt water would be very helpful as well... I don't know what else to suggest . I wish I could be more helpful.
