T or F? Any bird fitting APA SOP is SQ

I would say yes and no. If all the individual parts are correct or near correct, but the WHOLE picture doesn't add up to the "type" of the breed in question, then it doesn't paint a winning picture to a judge's eye. In otherwords, they may meet the "minimum" number of points per section of bird, but the total doesn't add up to make a nice representation of the breed. Was that clear as mud??

thanks, but it could still be shown w/out being disqualified, perhaps.
would you agree to that?

Sure, as long as it doesn't have any DQs, like side sprigs, wrong colored eyes, too many or too few toes etc. for examples. Study the SOP for your breed and see how close you come to it.

thanks deb, but i am asking the question only academically; I have no plans to show, actually.
i appreciate your generous contributions.
