I love how I had two previous hatches;

1st in homemade incubator
2nd in a actual incubator (borrowed)

1st lost 60% of developed eggs within 7 days
2nd lost 50% of developed eggs within 7 days

This time I'm screwing around and incubating them with a lamp, nothing else, on some rocks and under a lamp with a 25w bulb. Day 7 and all are PERFECT and developing.

Let's see if they make it full term.

Day 15
Humidity has been 22%, heat fluctuations to 108*, chicks are in there and moving. Should be another couple days. I did place a saucer of water beneath for some humidity. But not incubator still, just a heat lamp now

So I got 3/3, chicks grew perfect t and pipped but we're unable to turn and zip (probably due to humidity, so I had to help them all after about 36-40 hrs - they were very happy to get out!

So it works, sorta!
