Tag Team Hens!

    Well, I thought it was bad enough that my Saipan hen went broody on me, and the others quit laying because of it, but now I have 2 hens on the same nest! In all my years, I have never had this happen before...

    I have dualing broodies, too! They are fighting over every egg that drops out of all the other hens. [​IMG] Actually, there are three broodies but two in particular want the same nest.

    Cool pic tat2, I guess it is a normal thing, but I just have never had it happen before. Strange too, because I have had chickens for a few years, you would have thought I would have seen it before....

    You're lucky. My hens won't brood at all. However, its still early in the season, but I thought my Silkie female would for sure.

    Ours, though not broody, have done that.
