Hello...we are happy to be in the chicken world again! My mom and I used to take care of Grama's chickens many years ago, but having our own is new. Six weeks ago, we brought home four sweet chicks; two Easter Eggers, Lu Lu and Katsu (my husband's idea for a name, Japanese for cutlet),a Colombian Wynadote, Winnie, and a Barnevelder named Ruby. Their personalities shine through and make us laugh. Our coop is small and cute, but we make it work. Both of us are looking forward to life with chickens and being a part of this community.

Glad you could join us here! How nice you are able to keep some chickens of your own now. It sounds like you are having a great time with your new chicks. They sure do have their own personalities and the chicken TV is great. I can sit and watch them go about their chicken business for ages.
