    Hi-

We have magpie ducks. We started out with two males and two females. Last year the two females gave us some ducklings. Unfortunately, we lost the two original females and quite a few ducklings to raccoons before we figured out what was happening:-(. We now have 8 ducks total--our original two drakes, and six of the surviving ducklings. Two, (possibly three) ducks have started laying. We would love to separate the males from the females this time around, but we cannot figure out which is which. All of our males have lost their tail curls! Is there another easy way to identify the genders???
