Taking the chicks outside today..

supposed to be 75!! which is strange!! the rest of the week it'll be in the 50's and even 40's on occasion...go figure...

I think 75 is ok for them to be out in the sun w/o wind right most of the day at a month old right?

I'll be out there painting my coop..so I can let them free range roam...
 
Oh Yes, that is plenty warm enough, we took our 6 day olds out when it was about 65, little wind and they loved being out there, and even slept in a small shaded area too.
 
I put mine in my big girl's run today (the adults are blocked off). They're loving it but I put a heating pad on low covered with hay for them, too. Their first nap was snuggled up under my "wings" and their second one was on the heating pad. One is turning out to be quite the snuggle bunny, I love it!
 
It's fine. My chicks are outside at as early as two weeks on nice days. By a month old, they are running around with the other chickens, like they've always been there.
