Tattered Feathers

Hi I have 4 Silver Laced Wyndottes. Two have their saddle feathers tattered and worn. One is looking pretty rough. They are energetic as much as my other birds. They eat, play and run around. I did give all my 10 birds a lot of scratch throughout the winter. Are these feathers like this from diet or mites? I checked at when it got dark and no red mites. I didn't see any in their feathers but still dusted with Prozap.

I suspect it's a diet issue. Give them layer feed only.
