I would recommend contacting the Jockey Club and other horse-racing associations. I'm sure they would be able to tell you more info from your horse's tattoo, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to pay.

I couldn't find any other organization that would be more reliable or free for that matter.

Good luck, and great job on rescuing. [IMG]

I have a friend who's a member and they said they will look it up when they get time and will get back to me... so if I hear from them soon, I will let you know.

YIPPEE! Thank you so much. We don't even know her name. When I picked her up 12 horses were dead and she was 1 of 6 alive and seized. Thanks

Have you ever done any work with the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation? (www.trfinc.org)
They may do a look-up for you even if you aren't one of their members.
You have my deepest respect for helping these old warriors off the track. I take care of one myself but sadly we don't know her real name because an old scar runs right through her tatoo and has obliterated a couple of the characters.
Give the old girl a hug for me! [IMG]

I have an adopted Mustang that the people I got her from said they could not do anything with, I paid $100. for her and loaded her up. She was petrified and a pool of sweat covered the trailer floor. A little love and time and now my 3 & 4 year old nephews ride her. Thanks for what you do for them![IMG]
