Teaching our pony to cart

We are teaching our Morgan pony Otis how to be a cart pony. So far he seems to really injoy it. He is great at vauling, trail riding, jumping and a little dressage. So we figured why not teach him to cart. Anybody else do carting??

Whenever I manage to get a harness for my little guys, we're going to start. Sonny's already trained but rusty, I've done a little ground driving with Laci, but not much,

I have a mini that I drive. I love it! I also have another mini that is just a year old that I will start to train to drive at the end of next year. I hope to make them a team in a few years.

I don't do carting but I did want to mention Otis is a cutie pie!

I taught my Quarb to cart, he's really good at it and as he gets older it will be valuable, because I can still keep him usefull in his old age. This winter I will be teaching the minis, my Quarb pinto and my Mustang to cart...
