Masscre! My guy removed the bodies of some of my 12 chickens this morning, I am devastated. Something got 'em and they're right up against my house and next to the deck. Whatever it was moved a wooden block and dug underneath. My beautiful teens were 2 months old. I've got the big girls but no variety whatsoever. I'm crushed!

So this does not happen with your next batch, bury the hardware cloth two feet down so digging predators can't get at them. So sorry.

Hate to hear that. I'd be devastated too if something happened to my girls. All we can do is learn from these experiences.

Definitely dig some fence into the ground or get an electric fence.

Sorry to read about this. Like others have said, improve your security where it was weak, and extend that around the entire run.

Your coop looks plenty strong, so make sure your run is in good shape as well. Electric fence would be another nice addition.
