One of our Sapphire Gem pullets is very sick, I found her yesterday like this and she still hasn't improved this afternoon when we did chores.

She is pale, EXTREMELY thin, lethargic, not making any noises unless started, she wont eat but she will drink if you dip her bill in water, I think I can feel food in her crop and she isn't fed at night so possibly shes not digesting, and her poop is watery like pee and it stinks very bad. Her throat is also sore and raspy.

We thought it might be sour crop but too many other symptoms are there and there are too many symptoms that arent there.

We gave them probiotics and vitamins in their water to prepare a treatment for corrid but she hasnt improved. The rest of the flock that we have in our large chain link kennel are perfectly fine.

How old is she? She looks like she might have coccidiosis. I would start some. Corid in her water, 10 ml per gallon of water for 5-7 days. If using the powder dosage is 1.5 tsp per gallon of water. Today and tomorrow you could give her some undiluted Corid in addition at 0.1 ml per pound of weight.

Abt 3 months, yea thats what my mom thought at 1st but then when I gave her an update she thought it was sour crop. But after looking at online sources with my friend we realized it wasnt. Thank you, we will try that.

Coccidiosis can sometimes cause a slow to empty crop from the intestinal problems slowing digestion. I’m not saying that is what her problem is, but it would be good to treat just in case.
