Teenager gosling?

my friend rescued this little gosling from a gas station when it was just a baby. he just sent be a recent pic and the thing it getting big! i'm not sure how old it is, but i'm curious about the gender and breed. i was thinking girl because of the black bill.

I'm not aware of any goose breed where the bill colour indicates gender. Brown africans and brown chinese have black bills, regardless of gender. When I see adults together, I can tell them apart, but doubt I would be able to if I saw a single bird.
