When a coupld of my girls first started laying we got some of those teeny eggs, too. I think the smallest came from a partridge rock.

Mine did have a full yolk. It was just a tiny egg - like a little birds egg. We ate it fried.

We don't have any new pullets in the group. Everyone had already been layong and everythings back to normal. not a nother small egg since. We didn't eat it but I dod crack it open and got just an egg white and membrane in it. I don't know which chicken laid it...by the coloring I would say one of my leghorns or an americaunas? we don't have any bantams as well.
