tell me how to quarantine

It looks like I am going to be getting some hens that came from a commercial laying facility. I have been searching on proper quarantine methods, but am not finding what I need to know. What is considered a safe distance for them to be kept? Is the same property ok?

I don't know about an exact distance, but the same property is fine.
