I have 13 girls and 2 boys. They are 2 weeks old. They are silver laced wyandotts.Question,How do yoy tell the girls from the 2 boys???.Beautifull babys and doing very well.I want to start to handle the boys so they grow up to trust me and the wife.
I did this to the roo i had and he was a great buddy and trusted us compleatly.Thanks.

I think it is likely too early to determine the sex. I have a GLW and I would love confirmation that she is a hen and from what I have read (newbie that I am) on this site, is that Wyandottes are often very hard to sex early on. My recommendation is to handle all of the chicks and feed them treats. There are a lot of good ideas and threads on how to bond with your chicks. I have found that some of my 3 week chicks love me, some are neutral, and some are still very much afraid of me.
