A local breeder gave me a dozen FREE Ameraucana eggs and he's got really awesome lines!! Woot woot! Setting them tonight....

After MONTHS of no eggs following hard molts, and not expecting to see any before spring, I was surprised by an egg in the nest box today! Yay!

Hmm, let's see. Well, I just found the sequel to a very good book I read a couple of weeks ago.
I've also been talking to my old friend on Facebook, one of the few things I look forward to. Despite having not seen each other in over five years, we still have plenty to talk about.

Well today, I saw an old friend again after she'd been away for a little while. But things started to go wrong between us soon afterwards, so I don't think that counts.

I might be getting a job though, so that IS something I can look forward to.
