Do you know which breeds were used in creating the bsl chicks you have hatched? Knowing the parent breeds will factor into some of the more nuanced differences you might be able to discover between the two groups as it can often be a matter of the color of the feet bottoms, etc. Anything with a dot on the top of the head will definitely be a BSL male chick as the dot is indicative of barring and only the BSL males should have that. Once you have sorted those out you will only need to differentiate the BSL pullets from the JG. The BSL should not have much in the way of color on their overall body down - those with a lot are likely to be the JG.
