ok my crazy thing keeps jumping for 101.4 to 102.0 if i tweek it it will be in the 100.9-101.4 range if i tweek it agian it 101.9-102.0
i hope i am not cooking thse little guys humity stays about 35-45. [IMG] they need to invent a better turning knob i think after this i am going to make something to turn the tempature gauge with, its a bugger to regulate [IMG]

I have a LG very senative adjustment. My first hatch temps went to just about the same as yours on day 16-19 and still 12 out of 16 hatched.

Be sure you turn the knob slowly cause my bator heats up fast i don't know if maybe yours is the same way

Hmm not sure. good day to hatch thats my birthday July 15t. good vibes [IMG]

Did you try to set the temp a couple days before you put the eggs in, good practice to do in future if you didnt last time.
Has it been doing that since day one?

    I think you are fine.[IMG]
I have LG's.I find a close temp and leave it alone..
If you can maintain 101.8.thats close enough..........
Mine is more 99.5 which if fine but can cause a little longer hatch.like day 23
If it tries to go down , I do not touch the knob.I just wrap a towel around it.
If it goes up just a smidge, I do not worry about it.......
I have read that 105 can kill the eggs..but have also read folks have had
108 spikes for a short amount of time and still been O.K.
I doubt a hen can maintain exact temps..
    Good Luck......[IMG]
