Temp Problems

Hey...


So i Tested my incubator acting as if i was a thermostat. I turned it off at 99 degrees. The nthe temp kept going up to 104! WHAT! what is wrong? HOW DO I FIX IT?

I am not wise to the whole fixing of electrical.. It may be your heating element or whatever is inside the incubator?? Not sure on this one.

will the 12v fan help? i just need to fix it bad...

What type of incubator do you have?

I have only hatched once with a incubator, I will do my best do help.

Are you using several thermometers? This thermometer might be wrong and there is actually no issue with the temp.

well i have a REAL HOUSE THERMOSTAT and the temp matched the thermostat...

My first bator was home made. I had it on the stove and the temp was really up and down. I had to move it to we're there weren't any windows or the cold stove top. It had stable temps but I bought a real incubator as it would just be easier. So not sure if temp would have stayed during the whole incubation.

Try putting in another thermometer, you never know.

And as for the fan, never have had a fan. So I have no ideas there

Do the eggs feel really hot? Or to cold? What day are they on?
