Temp ?

came home from work today and temp in incubator was 101,lockdown started yesterday will the high temps hurt the chicks?I have herd of some people incubating at these temps but I try to stay at 99.5.kind of stressed been 8 years sense I hatched anything out.

Granted my experience is limited to about 6 hatches - but I have not had any problems when the temp slips to 101. So I don't think you need to worry. good luck.

Well Marc81 I don't think you have anything to worry about at all /1 the egg temp takes longer to heat up but 101 is not a killer temp at all for a short period of time.if you have a still air that is what they say to incubate at/I just had my worst spike ever on day 18 went up to 106/made me sick but I candled and still have movement and a pip today on day 19/so I am sending you good hatching vibes and good luck!!!
