For chicks younger than 1 week, what is the lowest temperature they can tolerant?

(NOTE: I'm asking to prove a point to someone, not so I can make chicks endure it!)

Well I have no clue! LOL
I always follow the ol' 95 degree rule for the first week. They can pick to stay were it's warmest (right at about 95*) or if they get too warm, they can hang out further from the heat lamp.

I'm not sure how to answer. My guess would be 70-75??? I'm assuming by tolerate you mean as a consistent temperature over a long period of time. I'm sure they could tolerate much lower temps for short periods but would need to get warm occasionally.

Yeah, I meant over a long period of time.
